Flag Football for all children ages 5 and 6 (as of July 31st). This will be a great opportunity for our "Pups" to learn the game. The season will run in concurrence with the Tackle Football Season. Participants will have 2 practices a week and 1 game per week. Please help spread the word. The cost will be $75.00 per participant. The number of teams will be based on the number of participants.
Tackle Football: As Part of the the Old Colony Youth Football League this season. We will be fielding 3 Teams:
Midgets: Ages 12 to 14 ( 15 if their Birthday is BEFORE November 15th; Cannot be in 9th Grade)
Max Weight: 165 Pounds
(if a player weighs 175 pound or below , they can be on the roster until they make weight for that week)
Pee Wee: Ages 10 to 11 (12 if their Birthday is after July 1st)
Max Weight: 130 Pounds
(if a player weighs 140 pounds or below , they can be on the roster until they make weight for that week)
Mites: Ages 7 to 9 (10 if their Birthday is after July 1st)
Max Weight: 105 Pounds
(if a player weighs 115 pounds or below , they can be on the roster until they make weight for that week)
*** Players can play above their Age Group if they are above season ending Weight or Max Weight.
Each Team will Play a Varsity Game and a Jr. Varsity Game each week. This will allow EVERYONE to get plenty on playing time. No more Mandatory Plays.
All interested children should sign up. The cost will remain (for the 5th year) at $200.00, sibling discount will apply. We provide most required equipment including "top of the line" Helmets, Shoulder Pads, Lower Pads, Practice pants and Game Uniforms at no additional cost. All of our equipment meets National Safety Certifications. Football Coaches are Trained by USA Football and are Head's Up certified. Your child will be taught the most current safe tackling and blocking techniques, reducing their exposure to injury.
CHEER: Bulldogs Football and Cheer offers a fun, developmental cheer program open to all girls and boys ages 5 – 14. This is a Developmental Program open to all skill levels. Exhibition and Competition opportunities depending upon age group. Team work and Spirit Emphasized!
Learn: Tumbling Skills; Safe Stunting Formations ;Simple Cheer and Dance Routines;

Open Try Outs for all Cheerleaders ages 12 to 14 - ( Midget Squad).
*** Depending on the number of participants , we may form a Competition Team for 10 - 11 age group (Pee-Wee Squad).
Practice: All practices will take place at the Bulldogs Youth Football Field. 71 Quaker Meetinghouse Rd, Sandwich , MA. First Practice will be Thursday August 10th and Friday August 11th. Starting on Monday, August 14th, we will be practicing Mon - Thurs 530 pm to 800 pm. First Games will be played on the Weekend AFTER Labor Day, September 9th / 10th. Once school starts we practice 3 evenings per week. (NO MONDAYS) Times and days will be decided by your Coaches.
Missed practices. We understand that families have other commitments which may cause players to miss practice. However each player Must make a number of hours before they can participate in contact drills , scrimmages and games. Make sure you discuss this with your HEAD COACH. We will work with each player individually to insure they are prepared.
Games: Games will be played on Saturday and Sunday. All HOME games will be played at the Bulldogs Youth Football Field . We will NOT get our actual schedule until sometime in Late AUGUST, after it has been finalized by OCYFL
Our first game will be on the weekend of September 10th.
